We're ready for the Spring Sale!

Everything is cleaned, pressed, hung, and stacked and we are READY for the Spring Sale! So many cute things- clothes, shoes, furniture, nursery and big kid bedding, baby gear and more.

Remember: Consignees shop early THIS Thursday, March 11, at an open house. We'll have some great vendors here to make the night a great chance to shop! Browse hand-made frames, customs canvases, and photography after you've shopped the consigned merchandise!

Spring 2010 Sale Information

Welcome to Hock Your Smock, and Other Cute Things!

We hope that this sale is an easy and convenient way for your to consign some of those cute things your kids have outgrown and fill their closet with new things for the spring and summer season!

DATES:
The Spring Sale will be held March 11, 12, 13 and 1/2 price sale on March 14.

Drop off dates are February 15-March 7.

Pick-up remaining items by March 19 (if not donating).

Checks can be picked up the week of March 15, or you can choose to have your check mailed.

LOCATION:

1268 Bull Creek Lane, in Creekside II subdivision in Collierville.

CONSIGNING OPTIONS:
I: bring your items tagged and on hangers, ready to sell!
Consignee fee: $5, and receive 70% of the sale

II: bring your items cleaned and pressed, and we'll price 'em, tag 'em and hang 'em for you!

Consignee fee for $10, and receive 60% of the sale

WHAT TO CONSIGN:

-Cute and current spring and summer children's clothes in good condition, up to size 16

-Shoes, cleaned and in good condition

-Baby and children's bedding, room decor

-furniture

-gear (including strollers, swings, high chairs) in good condition.

-Hock Your Smocks reserves the right to refuse items that are not in good condition, are out of season, or inappropriate for other reasons. We will reserve space for the items that will sell! No item priced under $5 will be accepted.

HOW TO TAG ITEMS:

**Please remember that how items are tagged and presented is key to a quick sale!! Customers will be looking through lots of items, and you want yours to stand out. Please label tags neatly, and price competitively. We expect lots of shoppers! Make sure all tags are SECURE!

**Consider asking 30-40% of the original sales price, depending on the condition of the item.

(Remember- we can do this for you for $10 and a 60/40 split!)

Each item should be tagged with a 3x5 index card pinned over the 'heart' of the clothing item, or taped well to shoe bags and gear.

The tag should include the following information:

-In the top left corner, print your code. This code is the first 3 letters of your last name, followed by the last three digits of your phone number.

For example, Jane Smith, phone number 555-1234 will use the code, SMI234

-Following your code, please include a Y or N, indicating whether the item will be reduced by 1/2 on the last day of the sale.

-Size in the top right corner

-Gender in the bottom left corner

-Price in bottom right corner

-Brief description in middle.

-Hang all items on coat hangers (which will NOT be returned to you), with the hook of the hanger pointing to the right, making a question mark.

-Place shoes in bags, one pair per bag, taped closed. Tape the index card to the bag.

Furniture and gear:

-Affix the index card WELL to the item. Remember that this information is needed to sell your things!
